Revenue and Customs charities guidance
HMRC is reviewing its charities guidance to make it more accessible. HMRC sees this as a major undertaking which will take time. They say they'll be contacting many groups and individuals to understand their issues and concerns. Details here

The Spring 2011 edition of Charity Commission News is now available. You can find it on the Charity Commission's website. This issue introduces a new piece of guidance to help you manage your charity's assets and resources. Items include: double bed, ironing board and iron, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery & other kitchen utensils, a TV stand, a book shelf and other related items. Advertising on your web site
Last month new legislation came into force that regulates the content of advertising on web sites. Previously on-line advertising was unregulated which led to many complaints about the content of advertisements. A new online code has been published by the Advertising Standards Authority.
