Gatton
Country Fair: Sunday 3rd July 2011
There
will be lots of interesting stalls and things to do at this year's Fair:
-
Live
ferret racing
- Newfoundland
Dogs water display
- Henfold
Birds of Prey displays throughout the afternoon
- Tractor
rides and pony rides
- A
fun dog show, so don't forget to come and enter your "best friend"!
There
will be a BBQ and other food stalls and lots more, including Street
Theatre from the Drama Department at the school and music from The
Redstone Community Big Band. Entrance is £4.50 for adults and
free for children. We hope to see you there!

Fashion
and Dance Show at Reigate Grammar School
Wednesday
6th & Thursday 7th July at 7pm
As
part of their Summer Festival this year, Reigate Grammar School are
hosting a Fashion and Dance Show in aid of Loveworks and the Reigate
Samaritans. Further

Volunteer
Project Needed
We
currently have a team of 20 volunteers looking to work on a
decorating project on Wednesday 13th July within easy distance of
Betchworth. If your organisation needs to have an office painted, or
hall, or any other indoor site decorated, get in touch with our

Priory Community Festival: Saturday 25th June 10.30am - 7pm
Join
RBVS and a whole host of other stalls and attractions for the
Reigate Priory Community Festival and Armed Forces Day at the Priory
Park. Whether you come for the demonstrations, the organisations, the
crafts or the family fun, we're sure you'll have a great time!
It's
All About You!
Reigate
& Redhill Live at Home Scheme are running a number of free
sessions for those over 60 who live in and around Redhill. Each
session is themed and a speaker will attend to give information and
advice on a range of topics, including Volunteering, the Pension
Group, local Social Care, Busses 4 U transport and much more. It will
run one session a month until April 2012. More information is

Reigate
Heath Memory Walks and Talks
The
Friends of Reigate Heath are hosting a number of walks and talks on
the Heath, including Moth Trapping, Treasure Trails, dog behaviour
support and the 'Lady of the Heath'. Further

our Annual General Meeting coming up in September, we are looking to
recruit new trustees who can help develop and shape the organisation
in the coming years. If you are interested in helping us support the

Funding
Information.
The
following may be of interest:
The
Hilton Foundation makes grants to a wide range of charities
and organisations working to advance children's health and education
with a particular focus on disability, children in hospital,
homelessness and life-limited children in hospices. Grants of up to
£30,000 per year (for a maximum of two years) are available for
projects the Foundation believes will effectively help the most
disadvantaged young people. The application pack and grant
application procedure are available to download here.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 2nd August 2011.
The
Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards Scheme provides one-off
donations of between £500 and £4,000 to local projects that
support children and their education and welfare, elderly people and
adults and children with disabilities.
